About the Department

• • The Department of Accounting and Planning (hereinafter DAP) is a structural subdivision of the state educational institution “University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus,” established with the aim of performing the informational, control and analytical functions of the financial and economic activities of the University.
  • In its activities, the DAP is guided by the Law “On Accounting and Reporting,” which defines the legal and methodological foundations for the organization and maintenance of accounting, establishes requirements for the preparation and presentation of financial statements, and regulates relations concerning accounting and reporting in the Republic of Belarus.

• • The main functions of the DAP are – planning of the University’s income and expenditure, rationing of expenditure, pricing in terms of educational services provided. The DAP carries out the formation of complete and reliable information about the economic processes and financial results of the University’s activities, necessary for operational management and governance, as well as for its use by higher-level organizations, suppliers, buyers, tax and financial authorities, banks and other interested organizations and persons.
