Sokolchik Valeria Nikolaevna

Born in the city of Berezniki, Perm Region (Russia). Studied at Lomonosov Moscow State University (Moscow), Faculty of Philosophy; Belarusian State University (Minsk), postgraduate studies; Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, doctoral studies (2022–2025).
Worked as Head of the Department of Doctoral and Postgraduate Studies, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Political Science at the Belarusian State Medical University (BSMU); Head of the Department of Science and Quality of Education at MITSO; Head of Doctoral, Postgraduate and Master’s Studies, Associate Professor of the Department of Healthcare at the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. Since 2022 – Senior Researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Research interests: Has more than 100 scientific publications in Russian and English, including monographs (2025, 2005), chapters in two collective monographs, also author and editor of teaching aids with the approval of the Ministry of Education of Belarus (philosophy, cultural studies), methodological manuals on bioethics, philosophy and methodology of science, cultural studies.

Area of scientific interest: bioethics, ethics and methodology of science.
