- Physics of interaction of high-power laser radiation with condensed matter. Plasma physics. Anisotropic effects in the dynamics of suprathermal particles of laser plasma expanding into vacuum. Features of charged particle transport in transition layers plasma – solid body. Influence of induced magnetic field on the properties of near-surface layers of rarefied plasma.
- Modelling of redistribution of structure defects in thin metal films under pulsed photon processing, comprehensive studies of solid-phase reactions, comprehensive studies of the structure of composite materials based on a polymer matrix.
- Theoretical and experimental research in the field of dynamics, strength, wear resistance, crack resistance of elements and systems of machines and structures. Prediction of limit states, reliability and service life of power systems of machines and equipment.
- Membrane technologies, production and modification of polymer membrane materials, water purification, water treatment.
- Development of new methods for modification of polymer membranes, study of their structure and transport properties in water purification and liquid medium separation processes, study of the regularities of production of flat and hollow fibre membranes based on various polymer materials.
