A seminar on the training of highly qualified scientific personnel was held at the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
On June 5, 2026, a scientific and methodological seminar “Actual problems of training highly qualified researchers in the organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus“ was held at the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The main purpose of the event was to provide practical and methodological assistance to specialists of academic scientific organizations responsible for the activities of postgraduate and doctoral studies, as well as to discuss key aspects of the organization of the educational process within the framework of science–oriented education programs. The seminar was attended by employees of more than 50 organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus engaged in postgraduate and doctoral studies. Dmitry Mazarchuk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, addressed the participants of the seminar with a welcoming speech. Nikolay Romanyuk, Deputy Head of the Main Personnel and Personnel Policy Department of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Head of the Personnel Department, presented a report on the priorities of the personnel policy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in the field of scientific personnel training. Special attention was paid to measures to stimulate the creative activity of graduate students, doctoral students and applicants, which were reported by Anna Ivanyukovich, Chief Specialist of the Personnel Department of the Main Directorate of Personnel and Personnel Policy of the Office of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Galina Ryabova, Head of the Department of Postgraduate Studies and Doctoral Studies at the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, summed up the results of the implementation of the state program “Education and Youth Policy“ in terms of science–oriented education for 2021-2025, and also highlighted topical issues of the organization of the educational process in the implementation of relevant programs. The seminar allowed the participants to exchange experiences, discuss pressing issues of administration of science–based education programs and coordinate joint actions to improve the effectiveness of dissertation defenses.
