The University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Received a Delegation of the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province (China).

As part of the development of Belarusian-Chinese scientific cooperation, on June 12, 2026, the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus received a delegation of the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province (People’s Republic of China) led by the Director of the Institute of Laser Research of the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province, Jia Zhuqing. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss prospects for expanding cooperation in the educational and scientific-technical spheres between the academic institutions of the two countries.

During the visit, official negotiations were held with the Rector of the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Marat Zhilinsky. The key topic of the meeting was the development and implementation of joint educational programs in the field of natural and technical sciences.

The parties emphasized the high importance of integrating academic science and the educational process, and also expressed confidence that the agreements reached will serve as a solid foundation for further strengthening of Belarusian-Chinese scientific and technical partnership.
