The University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, with the support of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus, held courses on the methodology of dissertation research for international postgraduate students.
With the aim of improving the research competencies of postgraduate students, on April 28, 2026, the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus held training courses on the topic: “Methodology of Dissertation Research”.
The course participants, in both in-person and online formats, were 38 citizens of the People’s Republic of China – postgraduate students of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and other educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus, as well as their research supervisors.
As part of the courses, a presentation was given by the Deputy Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Denis Vasilyevich Kapsky, who addressed current issues of scientific personnel training and the requirements for dissertations.
During the sessions, issues related to the correct formulation of the dissertation research problem, the structure and formatting of the dissertation, and information and bibliographic support were examined.
Based on the results, all participants received state-recognised certificates of completion.
