On April 18, the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Traditionally Joined the Republican Сleaning day

On April 18, the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus traditionally joined the Republican Сleaning day. The staff, the trade union organisation, and the University administration took part in the work. Work was carried out to bring the adjacent territory into proper condition and to plant greenery, as well as a general cleaning of offices, basement areas of the new building, and workplaces. The team cleared the territory of fallen leaves, dry branches, and household waste, and also decorated it by planting ornamental shrubs and flowers. Each participant of the cleaning day contributed to the common cause.
The Republican Subbotnik is held throughout the country in accordance with Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 150 of March 31, 2026 “On Holding the Republican Сleaning dayk in 2026”.
The funds earned on the day of the Republican Сleaning day will be allocated for the construction of the National Historical Museum of Belarus.
The Rector of the University, Marat Zhilinsky, thanked all staff for their active participation and personal contribution to the cleaning day, noted that through joint efforts high results can be achieved, and also emphasised that such events are important for fostering an active civic position.
