The University Held a Specialisation Day in “Jurisprudence” for International Master’s Students
The University held a Specialisation Day in “Jurisprudence” for international master’s students.
As part of the implementation of the educational programme in the specialisation “Jurisprudence”, the Department of Biological and Economic Disciplines held a Specialisation Day in “Jurisprudence” for international master’s students on April 17, 2026. The event was attended by master’s students from the People’s Republic of China studying in English. The moderator was the Head of the Department of Biological and Economic Disciplines, Alexander Dashkevich.
The programme opened with a scientific seminar, at which the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dmitry Mazarchuk, delivered an opening address. The main report was given by Yulia Kochurko, Head of the Department of Scientific, Organisational and Legal Work of the Apparatus of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Chairperson of the primary organisation of the NGO “Belarusian Union of Women” of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, who spoke in detail about the legal status of the Academy of Sciences and the specifics of scientific and organisational work in Belarus.
The seminar was supplemented by an exhibition “Works of Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus”, prepared by the University Library.
The culmination of the Specialisation Day in “Jurisprudence” was the ceremony of presenting student ID cards. The Rector of the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Marat Zhilinsky, congratulated the master’s students, noting: “Our University has created unique conditions: we use the full potential of the National Academy of Sciences to ensure that you receive a world-class education.” He emphasised the advantage of studying on the basis of the Academy of Sciences and personally presented student ID cards to the master’s students from the People’s Republic of China.
The festive atmosphere was supported by a musical performance specially prepared by the virtuoso Belarusian violinist Anastasia Dudareva for the participants of the Specialisation Day.
