With the support of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus, the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus held courses on the methodology of dissertation research.

With the aim of improving the research competencies of Master’s students, applicants, postgraduate students, and doctoral candidates, on December 9-10, 2025, the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus held training courses on the topic “Methodology of Dissertation Research.” During the classes, issues of legal regulation of scientific activity, the correct formulation of the dissertation research problem, the structure and formatting of the dissertation, information and bibliographic support, and the presentation of the scholar in academic social networks were considered.

As part of the courses, a presentation was made by the Deputy Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus, Denis Kapsky, who revealed current issues of scientific personnel training and requirements for dissertations. Among the course instructors were Doctors and Candidates of Sciences – specialists in the organization of scientific activity.

The course attendees were employees of more than 35 scientific organizations and educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus – over 110 people in total. Upon completion, all attendees received state-issued training documents.
