Serzhant Natalia Leonidovna

Education:
In 1991, she graduated with honours from the Faculty of Philology of the Minsk State Pedagogical Institute named after A.M. Gorky, then completed postgraduate studies at the Moscow Regional Pedagogical University, where she defended her dissertation, and in 1995 received the degree of Candidate of Philological Sciences; in 2010 she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in the speciality “Literary Studies.” She is the author of works on the issues of foreign and Russian literature, genre poetics of modern American prose, comparative literary studies, historical-theoretical and methodological aspects of science.

Research interests: theoretical and methodological problems of modern literary studies, comparative studies, imagology, interdisciplinary connections of Russian and foreign literature and culture.
