The Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (hereinafter – the Department) is a structural subdivision of the State Educational Institution “University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus”.

The Department was established in 2002 .

The main tasks of the department are:

– Organizational and informational support of postgraduate education at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

– Coordination and control of students’ mastering of educational programs of the I and II stages of postgraduate education in scientific organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

– Analysis of the work on the implementation of educational programs of postgraduate education in the organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in order to improve the quality of training of highly qualified scientists in the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The Department’s activities are carried out in accordance with the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Education, the Regulations on the training of highly Qualified Scientists in the Republic of Belarus, other normative legal acts of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the Charter of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Charter of the University, decisions of the University Council, orders, orders of the Rector of the University.
