Dialogue platform dedicated to the Day of People’s Unity

As part of the events for the celebration of the Day of People’s Unity, on September 19, 2025, a dialogue platform was held at the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on Education, Culture and Science of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Vyacheslav Danilovich. Employees and Master’s students of the university also took part in the event.

In his opening speech, Rector Marat Zhilinsky noted the significance of the Day of People’s Unity as a link between the historical past and the present. In his speech, Vyacheslav Danilovich noted that “the reunification of Western Belarus with the BSSR has enormous historical significance for Belarusian statehood, as it contributed to the consolidation of the Belarusian nation.” The deputy also touched upon the relevance of the unity of the people in the conditions of the political storms of our time.

During the discussion, the participants of the dialogue platform discussed the ideological meanings of the unity of Belarusian society.
