A Master’s student of the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus spoke at a round table dedicated to the issues of restoration of cultural monuments.
At the Russian-Belarusian round table “Current Issues of Preservation and Restoration of Museum Monuments,” held on September 11-12, 2025, on the premises of the museum-reserve “Island-town Sviyazhsk,” a Master’s student in the speciality “Archaeology” of the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Irina Vezhnovets delivered a report. The report was based on the results of the young scientist’s own research at the restoration department of the Nesvizh museum-reserve and was devoted to the problem of preservation and preparation for restoration of textiles from the crypt of the Corpus Christi Church in Nesvizh. Other issues of studying the preservation and restoration of museum storage items were also considered.
