Foreign undergraduates majoring in Law visited the Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

As part of the educational program in the specialty “Jurisprudence“ for undergraduates from the People‘s Republic of China, the Department of Biological and Economic Disciplines organized a visit to the Central Scientific Library named after Yakub Kolas of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Alexander Dashkevich, Head of the Department, moderated the event on behalf of the university. The Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus was represented by Alexander Tarasevich, Head of the Marketing Communications Department. The program of the visit included conducting an excursion and a seminar for foreign students from the People‘s Republic of China on developing students‘ research skills, which included working with scientific sources, including reviewing scientific literature and interpreting the results obtained, developing skills for presenting the results of their own research, and verifying them. The opportunity was given to get acquainted with thematic exhibitions, reading rooms, funds and collections of the Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
