International master’s students in the specialisation “Jurisprudence” visited the National Library of Belarus
As part of the implementation of the educational programme in the specialisation “Jurisprudence” for master’s students from the People’s Republic of China, the Department of Biological and Economic Disciplines organised a visit to the National Library of Belarus. The Head of the Department, Alexander Dashkevich, acted as the moderator of the event.
The visit programme included a guided tour and a seminar on working with scientific literature and normative legal acts for international students from the People’s Republic of China, and provided an opportunity to participate in the thematic platforms of the National Library of Belarus.
During the guided tour and seminar, the students from the People’s Republic of China familiarised themselves with the unique opportunities of the National Library of Belarus for conducting scientific research, examined the role of library collections in the information support of the educational process and self-education of master’s students, and learned about the architectural features of the building and the history of the cultural and scientific centre.
A wonderful addition to the guided tour and seminar was the opportunity to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere of the republican cultural campaign “Library Night – 2026” and to visit the thematic platforms at the National Library of Belarus, as well as to get acquainted with the cultural traditions of our country.
