The Rector of the University took part in the reporting and election meeting of the Department of Humanities and Arts of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

Rector of the University Marat Zhilinsky took part in the reporting and election meeting of the Department of Humanities and Arts of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on 04/22/2026. The main report of Academician–Secretary of the Department, Academician A.A.Kovaleni on the results of the Department‘s work for 2025 was heard at the meeting. The report of the Rector of the University and the reports of the directors of the Institutes and organizations that make up the Department for 2025 were heard. The work of the organizations and the Department as a whole should be recognized as successful. Elections to the Bureau of the Department of Humanities and Arts were also held. During the secret ballot, the rector of the University was unanimously included in its membership. The second issue was the amendments to the Statute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The report was delivered by the Chief Scientific Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus V.L.Gursky.
