We invite you to participate in the XXIII International Scientific Conference “Lazarev Readings.”

On November 6-8, 2025, as part of the celebration of the 270th anniversary of Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University in the city of Sevastopol will host the XXIII International Scientific Conference “Lazarev Readings,” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as the 95th anniversary of the birth of the founder of the Department of History of the Branch of Moscow State University in Sevastopol, Honored Professor of Moscow University V.I. Kuzishchin. Co-organizers of the conference: the Faculty of History of Lomonosov Moscow State University and the state educational institution University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (Republic of Belarus).

Teachers, researchers, museum and library employees, students, postgraduate students, and schoolchildren are invited to participate in the conference.

The conference format is full-time/part-time with the possibility of remote connection.

The working language of the conference is Russian.

The conference provides for the work of the following sections:

Current issues of history, archaeology, ethnology, and art history

Current issues of economics

Current issues of managerial activity

The Black Sea region in national and world literature

Geoecological problems and history of nature management

Psychological and pedagogical aspects of education and upbringing

Also during the conference, the following will be organized:

a round table “Mentoring in Higher Education: From Theory to Practice”
sections for schoolchildren in the fields of “History,” “Social Studies,” and “Geography”

School students delivering reports within this section and their research supervisors will be awarded Participant Certificates.

Based on the results of the conference “Lazarev Readings,” the publication of an electronic scientific collection with the assignment of an ISBN, indexing in the RSCI, and publication in the electronic library eLIBRARY.RU is planned. The deadline for submission of materials is November 30, 2025.
