Master’s Students of the University Visited the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

With the aim of strengthening international scientific and cultural dialogue, as well as within the framework of educational work, Belarusian and Chinese master’s students of the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus visited the State Scientific Institution “United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus” – the country’s leading organisation for fundamental and applied research in the field of information technologies.
The excursion began at the institute’s museum with information about the rich multi-year history of the institution’s development, its scientific schools and directors. For the foreign guests of the excursion, the staff of the Department of Intelligent Services of the UIIP prepared a welcome message in Chinese.
During the excursion, the master’s students of the University visited the Laboratory of Robotic Systems, the Laboratory of Speech Recognition and Synthesis, as well as the Supercomputer Centre. In each of the laboratories, a lively dialogue with the staff took place, and the master’s students asked questions with interest about the institution’s activities, opportunities and current areas of scientific research.
