Off-site event of the trade union organization of the University, dedicated to the institution’s birthday and the New Year

University employees continue to study the historical, cultural, and natural heritage of Belarus. On December 13, an off-site excursion and tourist event was held, organized with the support of the employer and the University’s trade union committee, during which trade union members visited a monument of wooden architecture of the 19th century – the Holy Trinity Church, located in the center of the agrotown of Knyaginin, Myadel District. The second point of the route was the Church of the Ascension of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Budslav, unique in that it is one of three Belarusian Catholic churches bearing the honorary title of a minor basilica (Basilica minor). This title is awarded by the Vatican to churches that represent special historical value and are a place of attraction for pilgrims. And the unique nature of the Myadel region, the land of bottomless blue lakes and pine forests, left no one indifferent.

A value-based attitude to the spiritual, cultural, and historical heritage of the country is what brings people together and contributes to the consolidation of the team. In the Year of Improvement, it is especially important to preserve the shrines of the native land, attract public attention to this topic, and support initiatives.
